Tess saw the look on Max's face and took a step back, frowning at him.
"max!" She said, and pouted at him, hoping he still had some feelings for her. "I can't just find a place to stay, I don't have any money or... Kyle and Valenti aren't exactly going to welcome me back.." Stepping closer to him, she tried to look cute. "Come on, Max.." She entreated. "can't I just.. stay with you?"

Pushover, she hought inwardly, smiling at him.
"Oh, THANK you max!" She said, taking the money from him. Out the corner of her eye sge saw Liz come out of the Crashdown. Grinning evilly, she flung herself at Max, hugging him in what she hoped looked like a suggestive way.

Liz stopped dead when she saw the others congregated outside the UFO center. She frowned, seeing the way that Tess and Max where standing apparently hugging.
"Oh my god.....Tess?!" letting go of Ian she stormed over to where the others stood. "What the HELL is going on here?!"

"Oh, hey Liz. Didn't you hear I am back in town." She grinned evily at Liz. "I am still pregnant with 'Max's child.' If you are wondering." She put a lot of emphasise on the words Max's child to antagonize the other girl.

"I am trying to get rid of her. I don't know why she is still pregnant. The granolith must have frozen her in time." He said while throwing a very nasty look at Tess, while pushing her away.

Liz closed her eyes, resigned to the fact that Tess would be staying with her. About the only good part of the situation was that maybe that she would finally be able to kill Tess.
"Fine," she said. "but she will being sleeping on the floor. If she uses her powers just once on me. I will kill her."

Ian frowned, not sure what the hell was going on.
"What? She was dead?"
He turned to Liz "What are you talking about powers? Whoa....were you guys like superhero-freaks or something?"
He backed away slowly frowning.

Liz slapped her forehead, closing her eyes and frowning. She turned to Ian slowly trying to find a way to remedy the situation. "Ian," she said, smiling in what she was a comforting way. She put her hand on his arm. "It's a uhh coding system that we use. I can't exactly tell you what we are actually talking about."
